I've stayed at the Hampton Inn Stephenville several times now, and every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. My room has always been clean, comfortable, and well‑maintained, which makes it easy to relax after a long day. One of the highlights of my stay is breakfast the General Manager always stops by to visit with us, and she is super sweet and genuinely funny. It’s rare to see leadership so involved and personable, and it makes the experience feel even more like home. The hotel is quiet, safe, and conveniently located, and the team goes above and beyond to make sure guests feel taken care of. I’ll definitely continue choosing this hotel every time I’m in the area.

My room was clean, quiet, and well-equipped, with a super comfortable bed and plenty of space to unwind. The complimentary breakfast was fresh and satisfying, with a great variety of options. I also appreciated the reliable Wi-Fi and the peaceful atmosphere throughout the property. The hotel is a older property but is very clean, this hotel is a reliable and comfortable choice. Highly recommend for anyone looking for friendly service, clean accommodations, and a great location!
The entire staff at this hotel are so accommodating and sweet. The lady that helped me out when I checked in was awesome, and Crystal who checked me out was also amazing! Will stay here again.
The indoor pool was a lot of fun, and the location was perfect for us. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was good. They even had amazing cookies and juices available in the lobby at all times. The only things we didn't like were the smell in the rooms (like dirty socks) and were also extremely humid, much worse than outside. The sheets always felt moist and so did the floor and even the toilet paper. The beds felt a little cheap but we all slept really well anyway, the pillows were super fluffy.
We had such a nice visit! The staff was amazing so friendly and helpful, it really made a difference. Breakfast was great too, especially the fresh fruit. It’s always nice to have something healthy and tasty to start the day. The hotel’s definitely older, but we noticed lots of improvements since our last stay. Everything felt fresh and well taken care of. From the parking lot to the lobby to our room, it was spotless. Big thanks to the team for making our stay so comfortable. We’ll definitely be back!
Very nice room. Was here with my daughter and granddaughter visiting Tarleton which looks like her choice for next fall. Everything has been top notch. The nice breakfast and super friendly people were a plus!
We came to Stephenville for a funeral, and the kindness we received at the Hampton Inn meant more than we can express. Crystal helped us with an early check‑in so we could get settled before the service, and she went above and beyond by helping us find a hotel near the Stockyards for an upcoming birthday trip even securing us a special rate. That level of care is rare. After the funeral, Luis made us fresh coffee and warm scones, which was such a thoughtful gesture when we needed comfort the most. Every staff member we encountered offered kind words and genuine compassion. This hotel doesn’t just provide a place to stay they take care of people. We are truly grateful and will always choose this Hampton Inn whenever we’re in the area.”
We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Stephenville overnight after attending graduation at Tarleton State University for our granddaughter. We checked in made the graduation and party after came to the hotel and had a very good nights sleep in a very clean and nice room. Then next morning went down and had a great breakfast then checked out to attend the Tarleton State playoff football game during the game we received a call that while cleaning the room my wife had left her purse in the room. After the game we went back to the hotel and they had her purse waiting for her. This is a great hotel from the management to all the staff, all very friendly and out of the way helpful. Do not miss the oportunity to stay at this hotel. Jesse Farrer
